Winter Adventure Begins

All hitched up and ready to go. 3 degrees F!

I am leaving Marengo, IL and heading to Mission, TX.  Along the way, I have stops planned for Kansas City, MO for the first overnight, then push to Hutchinson, KS on Friday to visit and overnight at the KS State Fairgrounds.  There I plan to check the place out for a potential future Heartland Owners Rally location.

Saturday afternoon, I’ll shove off and push to SW Dallas, TX to spend the night at Terry and Carol H’s home in their driveway.  I’ll go to Church with them Sunday, then move the RV to a nearby State Park for the next 2 nights.

Then Tuesday, I’ll push off for Kerrville, TX to attend Jim McG’s RV.net Sweetheart Rally.  Nancy will join me Friday night through Sunday afternoon.

Then on the 16th I push off for Mission, TX where I’ll spend a couple of days and host a luncheon for Heartland Owners in teh Rio Grande Valley.

Finally, on the 19th, I’ll push to George West, TX to visit with and drop my RV at Jim McG’s home.  Then I’ll fly home on the 21st out of San Antonio.

Should be a lot of fun (and a lot of miles!).
