Snow Cone Maker or Freezer?

In the first two weeks of ownership of my new RV (2009 Heartland Landmark Pinehurst), I was beginning to wonder if I had a freezer or a snow cone maker above the refrigerator! The freezer was making snow at an alarming rate. Dometic determined the freezer was not installed all the way into the freezer cabinet. They fixed it and now I get a great door seal and I the freezer is building frost at a normal rate for my climate. And the ice maker works great! If your RV freezer seems to make frost at an alarming rate, suspect your door gasket seal. Even if your door seems to latch fine like mine did.
