I got Poison Ivy on my land
Two days after we got home from Tennessee, I came down with what the Dr. thinks is Poison Ivy/Oak/Sumac. If it’s true, I surely got it when I was walking our land. Here’s a picture of my eye the first day of “the breakout/reaction” By day two, my eye was nearly swollen shut and I had broken out in about 8 spots on my face with red blotches.
I went to the Dr. and was prescribed a 7 day course of Prednisolone. So far, so good. Most of the blotching is gone and the swelling is very much reduced. Hopefully I’ll get this cleared out of my system within a week.
