First trip out with the new RV – Dillard, GA
Yesterday afternoon, we arrived at River Vista RV Resort near Dillard, GA. Â We’re here for the 2013 Georgia Chapter Heartland Owners Club rally.
This is our first trip out with the new RV. Â So far, the RV is very livable. Â One mishap though is the failure of the closet rod for hanging clothes. Â I’ve replaced them in all other units I’ve owned and I guess today, I’ll do the same in this one 🙁 Â I have a lot of modifications I want to make to this unit and this weekend during the rally, I’ll do a few of them.
The campground seems really nice. Â I’ve yet to walk the whole place but it’s nice around our rally area. Â Linda and Walter W are on one side of us and Malcolm and Val T are on the other side. Â Across the street from us are Dave Y / Julie H and our GA Chapter Leaders, Randy and Santha A. Â Lots of other Heartland friends here already and more to arrive today!
