Waterloo, IA – an overnight stop
We left Chatham, IL from the Illinois rally this morning and arrived late this afternoon at the new KOA in Waterloo, IA. We’re in site 7, a nice pull-through. We did not unhook the truck for this quick overnight. We’re heading to MN and will put into Prior Lake (western Minneapolis suburb) tomorrow afternoon.
Here’s a picture of the rig where we parked during check-in.
Do you put the front legs down when you don’t unhook? Didn’t know with the Level Up system
Jim – yes I do. Here’s what I do:
1. Turn LevelUp power ON
2. Press DOWN until I see MANUAL – then press ENTER
3. Hold the REAR button until the rear jacks (all 4) are on the ground and some weight is taken off the coach
4. Hold the FRONT button until the front jacks are on the ground
If the coach is really off level front-to-back or side-to-side, I may use the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to tweak it a bit. What you don’t want to do is twist the frame or raise the 5th wheel hitch such that it starts to stress it.
Jim, if you push the up button, Manual is the first setting. A lot quicker than pushing the down button over and over.
