Indianapolis, IN to Nashville, TN and RV Repair

This morning after breakfast, I made the temporary repair to the RV suspension.

Using a combination of modulating the LevelUp system, a 2×4 as a lever, a long ratchet strap as an axle repositioner and a hammer as a bolt persuader – I got the job done 🙂

Spring Eye with Never Fail Bushing. It got mangled when the bolt pulled it part way out. I removed it with pliers

I checked out the repair every time we stopped. Nothing seemed to have moved and no more dog-tracking.

There were several construction delays on I-65 south today. And the road quality in the non-construction areas was horrible. At one point, we were stopped behind a Horizon Transport driver pulling a Bighorn. It was cool to see the reflection of the Landmark in the back window of the Bighorn.

We put into the Nashville KOA later this afternoon around 4 pm or so. We’re in the upper section in site S29. I didn’t think the satellite dish would work but it did. I haven’t looked at it but looking at the signal levels, we must be looking through the tree. Yet, we have television 🙂
