Chicago, IL – Day 5, Financial Planner Visit, Shopping, Mary Kay Event and Dinner Out with Aunt Corky

Another busy day in the Chicago area. We had our annual meeting with our Financial Planner at Vantage Financial in Arlington Heights, late this morning.

After our meeting, we had lunch with our planner, Sam S at Salsa 17 – a Mexican restaurant around the corner. We had fresh guacamole made tableside and I ordered the fish tacos. It was all great.

After lunch, we ran all over the area doing some shopping. This evening, we went different directions. Nancy headed northwest to Cary for a Mary Kay event with her director and fellow Mary Kay consultants.

Aunt Corky and I went out for dinner. We went to Bonefish Grill.

We had the Band Bang Shrimp appetizer and each had the Grouper. Yummy!

On the downer side of the day, due to rush hour snowfall in the Chicago area, Nancy spent 2 hours getting to the half-way point to get to her Mary Kay event. She ended up throwing in the towel and heading back to Aunt Corky’s. 🙁
