Camping again! South Beloit, IL @ Pearl Lake Campground

Ruby, Emme and I are camping in South Beloit, IL at Pearl Lake Campground. Nancy will be meeting us tonight. Our friends Kim and Steve have their Landmark out here on a seasonal site and we’re on a nightly sight right behind them. Good thing too. My dish can’t see the satellite due to some very tall trees about a hundred feet ahead of the trailer. Steve has an 8-way splitter on his HD Direct TV dish and I am using one of the outputs. Perfect! Kim is having a birthday party for Steve this weekend so we’re sort of raining on that parade but they insist that they’d love to have us here so here we are! I plan to shop with Kim today and help her prep food and such. I did some cooking last night in the event that the food will be needed for the party.
