We made it.  We’re in Charleston, SC with the trailer and the puppies.  We took our time to travel the 1,100 miles – better part of 3 days.  We got great fuel mileage – about 11.4 overall.  Diesel was plentiful.  Pricing was a bit sporadic.  We paid $2.999/gal the day before we left, then $3.209,…

Went to the trailer to clean it today. Steam cleaned the carpets, scrubbed the floors, scrubbed the bugs off the front cap and more. Lots of work and it was hot-hot! 

Someone is getting lucky tomorrow. Made a batch of 6 dozen chocolate chip cookies tonight. Giving away all but a half dozen. We kept the grade B cookies. You know – the last couple scoops of batter with maybe 2 chocolate chips per cookie… 

We’re in site 208 at the KOA. Satellite works well and the while rig fits the site. Been on this site and site 212 in the past. Left Hershey, PA area today and will arrive in Elkhart, IN tomorrow.
