Travel Day, Heading Home

We are half way to Lost Island Resort (Ruthven, IA).  We’re overnighting at Walmart in Independence, IA off of US-20.  Nice folks. Heading out early to get to Lost Island by noon.  Blog at ya later. Jim

We are in New York City this weekend visiting friends. Here’s a picture I took from the plan as we approached Laguardia Airport. That’s Long Island at the bottom of the image with the Brroklyn Bridge (left) and the Manhattan Bridge (right) connecting Long Island to Manhattan. Our hotel is in Manhatten. 

Nancy is in China.  Her second trip abroad in a month – both for work.  Shanghai is 13 hours ahead of us.  Pretty easy to remember.  Our AM is her PM +1 hour.  So 9 PM at home now is 10 AM in Shanghai. Puppies and I miss her but we’ll live.  She’ll be home…
