Sandia Peak and Visit with Michelle
We’ve been in Bernalillo, NM (just north of Albuquerque) for a couple days now. Â We came here to visit with Nancy’s sister Michelle. Â Her and her husband Andrew leave in nearby Placitas.
We visited Michelle and Andrew the same time last year. Â In fact, we stayed at the same campground – Albuquerque North / Bernalillo KOA.
Today, Michelle stopped by to pick us up. Â Our plan was to go up the Sandia Peak Tramway. Â Before we left the RV, Tinker had to give Michelle some puppy love 🙂
Sandia Peak Tramway is about halfway to Albuquerque from Bernalillo – maybe 5 miles.  Below are a couple of pictures of our afternoon trip there and here’s a link to the entire album.
After we decsended Sandia Peak, we went to Santa Ana Star Casino to try The Feast Buffet. Â Tonight was seafood night for $22.95. Â I have to say, it was pretty good for the money.
Fun day with Michelle!
That is a sight to behold (and the ride too). There is a Passport Campground on I-40 in Albuquerque that has a dozen or so retro Trailers for rent.
While in Albuquerque, f you get to the John Carrillo Police Substation in Albuquerque, there is a Plaque on the wall from the Millburn PD in NJ. John was my friend and he was Killed in the line of duty 1988
Jim, you are always busy, I do need to update you. We are back in TN. please call when you get a moment. Ray
