On 3-July-2013, Nancy and I embarked on a health challenge. Â We began eating differently by buying prepared food from BistroMD. Â On 16-July-2013, I had my annual physical. Â At that time, my Glucose level tested 99 mg/dL.
Today, our friends Howard and KathyB dropped by to test our Glucose level. Â After being on BistroMD for 7 weeks, I’ve lost 19 pounds and my Glucose level has dropped to 91 mg/dL Â This is good news 🙂
Well, like Maid Rites, we rarely pass up a Shaved Ice Shack! Today here in Quincy, IL was no exception. We could not decide on flavors so we ordered 3 small cups. We had Tangerine, Strawberry Dacquiri and Margarita. Yummy. The girls liked it too.
We had a nice lunch and look around at the Hawk’s View Gallery on the south side of Louisville. They blow glass here and the things they make are awesome. Great lunch too!
Actually – treats for Nancy’s birthday. I rounded up the ingredients at Sams and Jewell and tonight, Nancy and I made treats for her birthday. At her office, you bring your own treats for your birthday.
