Chilling out in NOLA today

We’re chilling out in New Orleans, LA today. Actually, it’s cold outside but cozy in the RV. We’re both getting some work done. Also doing laundry. Hoping to head into town for dinner in a bit. Below are a few pictures and one short video from today.

Oops! I noticed water dripping off the corners of this travel trailer this morning. Was it ice melting off the roof? Looked like a few drips coming out of the entrance door too. Knocked on the door and got no response. Couple hours later, same thing – still dripping. Got hold of maintenance man at the RV park and he came by, turned off the water and banged all over the RV in case someone was in there but sleeping (very soundly). Nothing. He was going to try to reach a park manager to see if they have a contact number for the trailer owners. Maybe they’re at work and left the water trickle but forgot to open their tank valve??

  1. We shut off water on a travel trailer one time. No one home and water was POURING out through the front door which was closed. It had been doing it for some time as the entire site was flooded. Told the camphost. Later found out the toilet fittings were loose and there was over an inch of water throughout the trailer on the inside. What a mess.
