I finally finished the printer project in the RV. I stained a piece of pine to a medium cherry to match the cabinets. I mounted the pine to 20″ full-extension drawer glides. I mounted 2 metal L brackets to each glide using deep, 3/16″ diameter pop-rivets. Wood spacers are used on top of the middle fixed shelf in the cabinet and my assembly sites on the spacers. The L brackets are screwed down to the spacers. I also ran a screw up through the 2 front corners of the pine and into the bottom corners of the printer to ensure it stays put. I mounted the AC adapter inside the cabinet. I also added a 15′ USB cable and tied it up at one end of the printer in case it is needed. I plan to print wirelessly from my laptop through my router.
