Trip to Northeast U.S.
We’re on a trip to the Northeastern part of the U.S. Â Our first destination is Middleborough, MA (Boston / Cape Cod) where we’ll attend the Northeast Regional Rally of the Heartland Owners Club.
Our next destination is Maine for some Maine lobster! Â For this portion of our trip, we have no specific plans. Â We’ll make this one up as we go.
About 3/4 into our travel today, we stopped at the Flying J in Wytheville, VA, on I-81. Â We put on diesel and refilled both our 40# propane tanks. Â We don’t use the propane furnace much, but we do use the propane electrical generator each travel day. Â And we have lots of travel days.Flying J – Wytheville, VA
We arrived at the Staunton / Walnut Hills, VA KOA around 5:30 PM, after traveling 398 miles from home. Â We’ve been here one other time, a number of years back. Â It’s about 3.5 miles off I-81, so, not too inconvenient. Â Here we are all setup in 50 amp, W/E, PT site 417: Site 417 at Staunton / Walnut Hills, VA KOA
For dinner, I prepared my version of Wildfire Grill Chopped Salad. Turned out pretty good.
Looking good Jim. I’m going to have to get some lessons from you on Blogging. Have a good trip.
