Tampa Florida – Day 2
Mild and damp here this morning. Got up at 6:30 am and noticed a lot of traffic on the interior roads of Lazy Days Campground. When I took Emme outside, I noticed nearly all available spaces around the park were taken with cars and pickup trucks. Lazy Days RV had a sales team meeting in the rally hall. Must have been nearly 200 vehicles here for it.
Ken H and I planned to head over to Lazy Days RV sales center for breakfast at 8 am, but it was precisely when sales team meeting here at the campground let out and this place was jammed with everyone trying to leave at the same time and get over to the show. Ken and I both eventually made it out and over to breakfast.
After breakfast, we headed over to the show. Today is the first public day of the 2014 Florida RV SuperShow. Myself and 24 club members will be based out of the Heartland Owners Club table inside the LeMesa RV display through Sunday. Myself and my team will be spending time in the Camping World and America Choice displays with Heartland products – throughout the week.
Traffic at the show today was decent. Not huge, but decent. Linda W told me her and Walter and a few others were going out for dinner tonight. We joined them and 10 of us went to Longhorn Steakhouse in Brandon. Great food!
