(4-8 servings)
Ingredients:
- 2 Acorn Squash
(washed, halved and seeded and rounded ends cut so you have a small flat spot so the halves will sit flat)
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Turn acorn squash upside down (flat) onto a cookie sheet. Bake in oven until squash begins to soften, approximately 30 to 45 minutes
- Remove squash from the oven and turn each halve over so the flesh is facing upwards. Place 1 tablespoon each, butter and brown sugar into each the squash halve
- Return squash to oven and bake another 30 minutes until fork tender
