We made it. We’re in Charleston, SC with the trailer and the puppies. We took our time to travel the 1,100 miles – better part of 3 days. We got great fuel mileage – about 11.4 overall. Diesel was plentiful. Pricing was a bit sporadic. We paid $2.999/gal the day before we left, then $3.209, $2.899 and $2.899 again. Can’t complain.
We’re at Oak Plantation Campground (link) in Charleston in site 8. Nice size site, gravel, full-hookups, clear line-of-site for satellite. No fire ring though.
