Tonight we went out to dinner with friends from Mission, Lex and Bonnie F. They live here in Retama Village where we’re renting a site from another set of friends who own here. We went to La Jaiba Mexican Seafood in Mission.

The food was decent and reasonably priced. The waitress did not speak English but we figured it all out. I’d come back here again.

This Christmas Eve, we celebrated with a nice dinner. Â I made an Oven Roasted Prime Rib Roast, Oven Roasted Herb Potatoes, Green Beans Amandine, Cranberry Sauce and Dinner Rolls for dinner. Tonight, Nancy, Kevin and Nelly W and I went down the road just a few miles to Bentsen Grove RV Park to see a performance by the group “Cross Strung“. It was $5 per person and the show was pretty darned good. That family can really play. Nice evening.
