Las Vegas, NV Trip – Day 2 – Travel Day

We were up at 5:30 am today to catch a shuttle to the airport (BNA – Nashville) for our early flight to Las Vegas. I’m drafting this blog post using the Notes app on my iPad on our Southwest Airlines flight. I won’t post this for a few days, but I am connected to the Internet “on the plane”. For this 4 hour flight, Internet service was only $8.  I got a blog post written, some work emails taken care of, some new Heartland Owners Forum posts read, then I watched a movie I had loaded onto the iPad.

It was warm and sunny when we landed in Las Vegas.  We took a cab to our hotel, did the pre-check-in for a room, stored our luggage and started walking North on Las Vegas Blvd. down to the Tix4Tonight shop at the Giant Coke bottle.

We bought tickets to the Australian Bee Gees show for Thursday night.  Hope it’s good.
