15,000+ steps in one day!

Well, here was a nice accomplishment. One day this past week I walked 15,000+ steps. That’s 7.4 miles! We were in Las Vegas and there were plenty of walking opportunities. Unfortunately, with all that walking, the scale at home told the real fitness story this morning. Too many buffets, desserts and highly refined carbs in general. Time to become militant on diet and exercise again 🙂

10,000 steps today!

As my birthday gift to myself, I ordered the new Fitbit Force Wireless Activity tracker.  I’ve been wearing it a couple of days.  I hit 7,000 steps yesterday and 10,000 today.  We visited a tourist attraction this afternoon so I had a lot of opportunity to get in some steps!

We’re heading to Las Vegas to scout out a campground as a potential location for the 2016 National Rally for our club.  Hope to get a lot of walking in over the next few days.
